On Mt. Olive, animals and livestock are a part of the farm. No hormones or antibiotics are ever used on these animals, nor are they given any synthetic feed. Our animals grow strong and healthy, just as nature had intended. Our cows, Texas Longhorns and Black Anguses, graze on the rolling hills that stretch for miles across the horizon. In addition, we have two horses, two llamas, and some Pygmy goats that also enjoy life in our beautiful home. When guests come to visit, our llamas and goats take turns coming to the petting zoo for a special pampering. Here in the petting zoo, there are also fluffy bunnies, unique Bantam chickens, and a couple vibrant cockatiels. As long as an assistant is available, guests are welcomed to ask questions, pet and feed the animals, and take pictures - up close and personal.
